Newark International Airport (EWR)

 

Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is New York's second largest international airport. Located in New Jersey and just 16 miles from Manhattan, the airport's proximity to the New York city metropolitan area makes it a convenient option for many travelers that are looking for a less crowded close to New York City

Newark Liberty handles both domestic and international flights. The airport has three terminals, A - C. Each terminal in Newark Liberty has a number of amenities including restrooms, telephones, retail shops and restaurants for traveler convenience.

Newark Liberty International Airport

Terminal A
Located in the South area of the airport and is closest to parking lots P1 and P3, Terminal A at Newark Liberty serves Air Canada, Air Tran Airways, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, American Eagle, Casino Express, Chautauqua, Continental, Jet Blue, Midwest, Qantas, United, United Express, US Airways, and US Airways Express.

Terminal B
Terminal B is centrally located in the airport and serves a number of airlines that offer international flights as well as airlines offering charter and domestic flights. Terminal B serves Air France, Air India, Air Jamaica, Air Plus Comet (seasonal), Alitalia, British Airways, Comair, Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines, Delta Express, El Al, EVA Airways, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, L'Avion, Lot Polish, Lufthansa, Malaysia, Mexicana, Miami Chair (charter), Northwest, SAS, Silverjet, Singapore Airlines, Swiss, TAP Portugal, USA3000, and Virgin Atlantic.

Terminal C
Terminal C is located near the North area of Newark Liberty International Airport. Terminal C serves fewer airlines but this terminal contains the most retail shops and restaurants of the airport's three terminals. The airlines served by Terminal C are Continental, Express Jet (operated by Continental), and Flybe British European.

Driving directions from Newark Liberty International Airport to Manhattan

• Head northeast on Terminal Access Road
• Stay left to stay on Terminal Access Road
• Merge onto Pulaski Skyway N/US-1 N/US-9 N via the ramp to NJ-21
• Continue on I-78 E, Holland Tunnel
• Go through the Holland tunnel, and follow signs for uptown.
